I learned to draw from drawing the local travellers' horses which would sometimes lift their pegs and run around the neighbourhood in a little band until they were caught." Eileen Casey Eileen Casey currently lives in Dublin. Her poetry has appeared in Poets Aloud Abu, The Salmon, Flaming Arrows, The Waterford Review, Dublinspeak, The Acorn, The Works: Vols, 2, 3, 4, 5, Reality Magazine and others. She also received an international award for her poetry in 1993 and also in that year she published a creative writing collection entitled "Under the Pyramid". She has won many awards for her work here in Ireland. A creative writing tutor with the V.E.C., Dublin, she is actively involved in encouraging emerging writers. |
