Featured Poet Mary Wickham Mary Wickham is a Sister of Mercy from Melbourne, Australia. Her ministries include care of the homeless aged, writing and education. Her recently published collection of poems "In The Water Was The Fire" is available from Spectrum Publications, P.O. Box 75, Richmond, Victoria, 3121, Australia. Mary has a keen interest in Celtic Spirituality and Irish poetry. Her father is a native of Rosslare, Co.Wexford, and her mother's grandparents came from Clare and Galway. She has visited Ireland several times and finds inspiration for her writing in the landscape, particularly in the West. She is currently working on a travel novel which draws on Celtic motifs and attempts to express the experience of the contemporary Christian. |
